Andover, MATimberline is currently completing over $2M in renovations to laboratory and office space, as well as infrastructure upgrades for Sarepta Therapeutics, a biopharmaceutical company focused on developing innovative RNA-targeted therapeutics to improve the lives of people affected by rare neuromuscular and other diseases. Scope of work includes new ceilings, fume hoods, lighting, cabinets and flooring in lab spaces. Office renovations include select demolition, new conference rooms, open office space, break rooms and a kitchenette. Infrastructure upgrades include new MDF and IDF rooms, as well as a freezer farm. Timberline is also installing five new 3,300 kW generators in the facility, including a concrete pad, underground conduits, and a new structure to contain an electrical room with transfer switches and a power management system.
This follows the completion of two office fit-ups within the occupied Athenaeum Building in Cambridge; projects included an executive office suite, conference rooms, open office space, a kitchenette area, fire protection and HVAC systems.
