Timberline builds Legal standing

Timberline Construction recently completed a Legal C Bar in Hingham, MA for the Boston-based company Legal Sea Foods.The restaurant project consisted of renovating the interior and exterior of a previously occupied in-line restaurant space, within the Derby Street Shops, to accommodate a new south of Boston location for the Legal Sea Foods restaurant chain.

The Legal C Bar utilizes a social, casual and "bar forward" concept and features high-quality service, comfortable seating and fresh seafood. The Timberline team renovated the existing 7,000 square-foot space in Hingham to fit-out a Legal C Bar with capacity for 240 occupants.

The architect, Prellwitz Chilinski Associates Inc. of Cambridge, delivered an open layout floor plan and various seating options wrapped around a large bar and separate small raw bar; these were tied together with a modern urban-inspired design, combining a bright contemporary color scheme, high-end finishes and creative lighting to accent the elegant details.

Timberline completed this project at the end of May for the eatery's Memorial weekend grand opening. The team is now working on the new Legal Sea Foods Braintree location, as well as the neighboring T.G.I. Friday's renovation. Timberline also recently completed the Starbucks fit-out within Somerville's Assembly Row development. The 2,100 square-foot project was designed by NORR Architects of Chicago. This modern location features a window wall with central glass overhead door which opens up to patio seating. The team is working on a couple of renovations for Starbucks Coffee Co. including its Rowes Wharf location, and has completed more than 50 projects for the company in New England.
