Groton School Health Center

This project involved the conversion of an existing library in Groton School’s Hundred House Building into a new health center and IT office space. The health center includes two floors of private student exam rooms, nurse’s offices, wash stations, meeting rooms, counseling rooms, bathrooms and showers, and storage spaces. The IT office includes a new help center with computer stations for students, private office space for staff and a conference room/kitchen area. Additional scope included the removal of an existing ramp and installation of an ADA-compliant handicap ramp, as well as renovations to the upper study area and reading room in the Hundred House Building. Other existing library functions were relocated to the newly constructed Schoolhouse addition allowing the renovation to take place.
