AT&T 3G & 4G

PROJECT DURATION: 4yrs | NUMBER OF SITES: over 300
DESCRIPTION: 2G,3G to 4G network upgrade. For the last year and a half we have been working with AT&T to upgrade their local network from a 3G (UMTS) to a 4G (LTE). This has involved changing antennas adding new lines of Fiber Optic Cable (FOC) and DC cable, installing new Remote Radio Head (RRH) units, and reconfiguring the site to make room for the new technology. Also involved with this is a new line of testing in the tower industry Fiber optic testing. Our techs are certified on this new line of testing. Additionally, we have been adding more carrier to each site including WCS, 700DE and other LTE technologies.

Verizon Wireless 3G & 4G

 

PROJECT DURATION: 3yrs | NUMBER OF SITES: over 400
DESCRIPTION: 3G to 4G network upgrade. For the last five years we have been working with VZW to upgrade their local network from a 3G to a 4G (LTE), (AWS). This has involved changing antennas, testing old lines, adding new lines, and reconfiguring the site to make room for the new technology. Also involved with this is a new line of testing in the industry passive intermodulation (PIM). Our techs are certified on this new line of testing.

T-Mobile 3G & 4G

PROJECT DURATION: 3yrs | NUMBER OF SITES: over 1,500
DESCRIPTION: 3G network optimization. For the last 2 years we have worked closely with T-Mobile to optimize their local 3G network. This process has involved working off hours, between the hrs of 1AM to 6AM changing Remote Electrical Downtilts (RET) on over 1,500 sites. We have also been adding to the T-Mobile L700 LTE network expanding their 4G capabilities.

Cox Communications

PROJECT DURATION: 2yrs | NUMBER OF SITES: 200
DESCRIPTION: RF installation of UMTS Network throughout the State of Rhode Island. Network utilized a combination of Coax and Fiber Optic transmission cable.
